The Scoop of Leah, Corey, Twins, & Family: Meet The Family

It all started with a young and popular cheerleader and a young, country boy who lived in Elkview, West Virginia. Leah & Corey started dating right after Leah broke up from a 3 year relationship. They had only been dating for a very short time. One month after Leah's break up with her ex, Leah & Corey received the news that they were going to be parents! Not to just one baby, but to two baby girls!

Leah decided to take off her first semester of Senior Year so she could prepare for the girls. The sacrifice made Leah realize how much she missed her high school life. Corey worked two jobs to support their future family while Leah looked for a place to live. At 6 months pregnant, Leah woke up with sharp pains. She went to the hospital and started to go into labor. The doctors did everything in their power to stop her from giving birth because the babies were to undeveloped to survive. After 3 days in the hospital, the contractions stop and she finally went home. The doctor ordered her to strictly stay on bed rest for the remainder of her pregnancy. Leah found a place to live and broke her bed rest for a day to move. Leah began to get annoyed with Corey so she spent a night at her mom's house to get some space. That night, Leah didn't feel right and her mom rushed her to the hospital. Leah had to get an emergency c-section. Aliannah Hope (3 pounds 11 ounces) & Aleeah Grace (3 pounds 13 ounces) were born on December 16, 2009. The babies were born 6 weeks early and were premature, but healthy. A few days later, Leah finally got to leave the hospital, but her newborns didn't. Once the girls were 3 weeks old, happy parents- Leah & Corey, brought them home! Leah made arrangements to start school again which is one thing she was excited about- being able to take a break from being a mom and seeing all of her friends. Leah went out to celebrate her return to school with her friends and ex-boyfriend, Robbie. Corey got really upset that she had been spending time with Robbie. Leah didn't care though. When with her friends, Leah confessed that she didn't think it was going to work out with Corey and that she was not happy with him and had way more fun with her ex, Robbie. The next several days, all Leah & Corey did was fight. Corey eventually reached his breaking point when he found out how much time she'd spent with Robbie. More fights erupted and it seemed like their relationship was not fixable. Leah told Corey how she felt, not intending to hurt him. She then stayed with her mom and thought about their relationship- how she really doesn't want the relationship but does need the financial support. When Leah confronted him again, another big fight occured. Corey then made the next move and moved into his parent's house. Leah learned what it was like to be a single mom when Corey moved out. Leah's school work was suffering and she was spending all of her time taking care of the girls on her own. Robbie didn't return Leah's calls which made her wonder if she made a mistake breaking up with Corey. Leah hears a rumor that Corey is dating someone. The rumor was confirmed when she ran into Corey's friends. She was devastated and could only blame herself. Leah pushed Corey away, and because of that, he didn't want to be with her. They only saw each other because of the girls and didn't even talk.
Leah began to notice that Ali was developing slower than Aleeah was. It was hard for her to deal with alone, so she reached out to Corey. Since one of their daughters was sick, they strengthened their bond and reconciled. As time flashed by, Leah & Corey grew closer, and decided that they wanted to spend the rest of their life with one another. Corey proposed to Leah while fishing and the two got married. Marriage life was good at first, but eventually the relationship started to fall downhill and the two got divorced in April of 2011.

Since then, Corey has bought a nice, new home and fixed it up. He's still looking for the right girl. Leah started dating, Jeremy Calvert, who works as a pipeliner and is great with the girls, in August of 2011. In December, Jeremy proprosed to Leah and, of course, she said YES! Supposedly, the two had a small wedding in April of 2012 for the MTV cameras but plan on having a bigger wedding without MTV cameras later on in the future. As for the twins, Aliannah & Aleeah, they are now 2 years old and are happier as ever! Aliannah has had problems of development throughout her life but has been making tremendous amounts of success with her walking. She isn't walking fully on her own, like Aleeah is, but she is walking with someone holding her hands while standing behind her. Ali & Aleeah are both very intelligent and never seem to stop with their amazing abilities and skills. They are truly amazing little girls. Our whole blog and facebook fanpage is dedicated to them!
